Daniel & Brianna are the key protagonists facing threats to their lives who manage to find the inner strength to navigate the most terrifying moments of their lives with the courage & dignity they never realized they possessed.
The book’s 85 chapters alternate between two stories; one set in our current times, the other in the mid 1800s. Despite the 150+ years separating the two, one theme is constant, evil knows no epoch; it is omnipresent and ready to strike.
The author is clearly a man of the world with extensive historical knowledge about places and events which are spread innocuously throughout the stories, until their impactful significance is revealed in later chapters .
The book includes moments of high tension over racism, colonial imperialism, homophobia and sexploitation of the downtrodden. Anyone who has travelled the world, spent time in countries where the gap between the haves and the have nots is wide, will recognize that many of the events and places described in this book are not imaginary.
In the end, good overcomes evil and love offers redemption to the main and most troubled character of the story. The evil characters, the manipulators and the corrupt who, without any redeeming values, pay the heaviest prices.
I will read it again for entertainment and reflection.

Just finished reading the book, “Lost to Two Worlds”. I really must compliment the author - it’s a sensational read! It is fluid and there was never a dull moment. The author captured the excitement in countries spanning most of the continents; the Caribbean, Australia, the US and the UK and a few other countries too.
Daniel’s love for Pia and Brianna was well narrated and the minutest feelings were well reproduced in the publication. Their dedication and tremendous determination to help in Daniel’s mission to bring the corrupt and the ‘carnivorous’ Lord Elm to justice was captivating and held the interest and attention throughout the book. The fate of everyone in this well written novel is clearly determined and how the characters might live on into the future!
I look forward eagerly to your next novel, “The Eternal Shroud”.
Congratulations to the author for the effort it took to write these extremely unique stories in Juxta-position ….it demonstrates the richness of author’s talents as a writer.

We both thoroughly enjoyed it. Andrew spent a whole weekend trading it and couldn’t put it down.
Would you like us to keep it to ourselves, or could we circulate /loan it to friends?

ABSOLUTELY GREAT READ!
LOST TO TWO WORLDS is strongly recommended, a great read.
The story addressed good and evil simultaneously. The people and places came to life through the author’s unique style of writing. The characters and events covering a span of two hundred years in exotic places reflected how good and evil have existed in the human race throughout time. Even now we witness in our everyday lives, horrific events with truly evil people in our own country.
The book also told a great love story. This side of the story showed how lucky two good people can be who find true love in each other at first sight against all odds in a crazy world. This helps restore my faith in the human race.
It was this love story within the book that makes you realize that there is hope for the human race in our 2 worlds. I strongly recommend this book!
I strongly recommend reading this exceptional book.

More Author Please!
I finished this book wanting MORE! Pick up your pen again Mr. Bailey and give us more! All the “old cliche’s” like “Gripping”, “a real page turner” and “couldn’t put it down” all apply. The characters and storyline spring off the page and you are transported around the globe and through the centuries. Well done, Author! More please!

I really loved the book and couldn’t put it down when I finally had the chance to relax with it.
The amount of research was monumental. How the author knew all of the detail from guns to yachts to Cornwall. No wonder books take forever to write. Like that review said; when’s the next one???
